Just Some Random Shots

Just thought I'd share that Joe is not always a happy camper and he sure lets you know when he is not happy. Jack decided to plop down in Joe's Baby Bumbo Seat today - it's supposed to help Joe learn to sit on his own. I can't believe Jack could fit into it.

The Face of an Angel

I bought this "pool" on sale at Target for $15 - all the summer stuff was on closeout. It was really too babyish for Jack but we pulled it out anyway so he could enjoy these last beautiful summer like days. Jack truly has the face of an angel and he reminds us daily just by looking into his eyes that there is indeed a God!

Brent Woodall Foundation Walk For Autism 2007

We did the annual Brent Woodall Foundation Walk for Autism today as a family. It's held at a park in Coppell, TX every year and it's a 5k walk. I say it's an annual walk but this is our first year to do it. A friend had the shirts made for everyone in our group. It was a GORGEOUS day this morning and we had a great time. Jack is just feeling better today from a recent strep throat infection and he was full of energy. Joe loved being outdoors as usual. Jack took off running after days of doing nothing but laying around moaning. He was in heaven. We were late to the walk so we were at the tail end all by our lonesomes as you can tell by the lack of people around us. :) I forgot Joe's hat in our haste to get out of the house so I had to use his burp rag as a makeshift head covering. Pretty cool, I know. Joe, happy as usual - he absolutely adores being outside! Jack checking out the ducks with no fear or apprehension as is the case with Jack and all animals.
Jack getting ready to bounce his heart out. Well, actually "try" to bounce as he still cannot jump.

Joe is ALMOST sitting independantly - he has a super strong trunk!
FYI, the Brent Woodall Foundation (Non-profit) http://www.woodallkids.org/index.html was founded by Tracy Woodall, widow to Brent Woodall who died in the 9/11 attacks on the World Center. Tracy and Brent had talked about starting an organization to help children affected by autism but sadly Brent did not live long enough to see Tracy bring that dream to life in his name. Tracy now lives in the DFW area with her 3 daughters and runs the Brent Woodall Foundation where they train families to do ABA therapy for FREE, provide ABA therapy and host socialization groups for various age children at the foundation. This walk held annually helps to keep the foundation funded and is a very worthy cause.

A Typical Robbins Brother's Photo Session

Happiest Baby On the Block!

Joe is amazing! We are so blessed. He is now making all sorts of noises from a fake cough to a high pitched squeal to a gutteral growl. He smiles constantly, has the funniest and almost sinister laugh and LOVES to be held and carried around. He rolls over like crazy and can sit up pretty darn well for a 4 1/2 month old. Every day is a new beginning with him and he loves no one more that Jack. He goes to great lengths to get Jack's attention which he occasionally gets.
