The picture below is actually a couple of weeks old but I forgot to post it and I can't leave it out because it's so cute! Jack still pretty much ignores Joe but on occasion does something really sweet. A few days ago I put Joe in his swing and Jack reached over for Joe's bottle and put it in the swing with him. And every time we put Joe in Jack's lap or right next to him, Jack just gets real still and acts all shy. It's so cute because he's actually very careful with Joe.
Joe was diagnosed with Torticollis (also known as "wry neck") last week. It is a twisting of the neck caused from either being in utero in a twisted neck position, from the birthing process or sometimes and infection. Joe's could have been from his position in utero as well as the birthing process since the cord was around his neck and then he was pulled out very fast and kind of roughly during my emergency c-section. Treatment for torticollis is physical therapy. He started last week and will be going twice a week probably for a couple of months. He's already showing some improvement and seems more relaxed in general. We hope it clears up real soon because he does seem to be uncomfortable. Prayers for Joe!
